This crochet doll is named Dami.
She is a brown skin doll with cornrow braided hair. Dami is a tall girl that is different to all others, she is made using amigurumi* (crochet), and she understands that though she maybe different, she is just as important, loved and beautiful. She is wearing a red long sleeve top, blue checkered skirt, white high socks with black long boots.

She is also an emotional support doll (empathy doll).
Empathy Dolls enable children to explore their feelings in a non-threatening way giving the key person in their lives/supporting practitioner opportunity to 'tune in' to the child's emotional state of mind and providing time for the child to be listened to.

This is also why Damidoes not have mouths. That way, whatever your child is feeling, the dolls are feeling too. #feelyourfeelings

Using the dolls with children - can serve as a communication, play, and check-in tool, supporting children in growing in self-awareness and social-awareness.

Dami come in a frosted recyclable bag for safe keeping.

*Amigurumi (編みぐるみ, lit. "crocheted or knitted stuffed toy") is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. The word is a compound of the Japanese words 編み ami, meaning "crocheted or knitted", and 包み kurumi, literally "wrapping", as in 縫い包み nuigurumi "(sewn) stuffed doll".

    Care & Love Instruction:
Your Doll is stuffed with with wool (Crochet and Fabric doll) or polyester (Plush doll).
If your doll gets dirty, wash by spot cleaning with a soft cloth and a little wool friendly soap. Make sure to run up and down with the grain of the fabric, or crochet pattern. Rinse well.
You may also give your doll a quick soak in a sink filled with cool water and wool friendly soap. Squeeze out the excess by blotting in a towel, and leave out to dry.

Quick tip: Sunshine is a natural antibacterial, so a little sun time is good for your doll😊
