    *Amigurumi (編みぐるみ, lit. "crocheted or knitted stuffed toy") is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. The word is a compound of the Japanese words 編み ami, meaning "crocheted or knitted", and 包み kurumi, literally "wrapping", as in 縫い包み nuigurumi "(sewn) stuffed doll".

     

    Care: To properly care for a Crochet doll, here are some general care instructions:

    Machine Wash: (Each Doll comes with a 100% Cotton Wash-Bag)

    • Place your cotton doll inside the provided Cotton Wash-Bag.
    • Washing machine on gentle cycle with cold water and a touch of gentle soap.
    • To drain excess water from the doll, place a towel on a flat surface, then place the doll on it.
    • Then, make a roll with the towel and doll together.
    • Finally, unroll and leave doll flat to dry.
    • Make sure the doll is completely dry.

    Hand Wash:

    • Wash your doll in a bucket of water at room temperature, and a mild soap or shampoo.

    • Leave it to soak for two to three minutes, then rinse it with cold water.

    • To drain excess water from the doll, place a towel on a flat surface, then place the doll on it.

    • Then, make a roll with the towel and doll together.

    • Finally, unroll and leave doll flat to dry.

    • Make sure the doll is completely dry.

    Storage: When not in use, store the plush doll in a clean and dry environment. Avoid storing it in plastic bags, as they can trap moisture and promote the growth of mold or mildew. Instead, use a breathable fabric bag or wrap the doll in acid-free tissue paper. Keep it in a place where it won't be crushed or squeezed to maintain its shape.
